It works
The low flush Koehler toilets are hard to plunge because the shape at the bottom is no where close to round for a traditional round plunder to seal. It works better on elongated bowls as you can get the handle lower. It will eventually break off in the toilet. A hook pick and a rubber glove will pull it right out. Until they use a metal connector with a metal swivel this is as good as your going to get. Expect to have to fish it out and buy another but this is the only one, including the toilet snake and master plunger that actually works.

Weird and a Little Gross
Look at the pictures and imagine this thing doing what it is supposed to be doing. Yeah, what do you do about that? It's disgusting. But it's necessary sometimes. Lots of times, if you are someone with - or the parent of someone with - ASD/HFA and the associated digestive issues that go with that diagnosis (why, tho? WHY is that part of the already lousy deal?) <- tangent, sorry. Sooo, here are some tips from a mom with a ****-ton of experience: Keep bleach on hand at all times. It destroys toilet paper and breaks down the biological binders. Don't overdo it, though. It's not kind to parts of your plumbing. Pour a cup into the bowl and wait for it to work. Then mix some more bleach with water (1/3 cup to a gallon) to make disinfectant and pour that into the bowl. That's so that you won't be dragging so many germs back out when you use this flexible plunger. When the clog is gone, flush. Leave the plunger in the bowl. You are going to disinfect it (and flush the TP and whatnot off it) before you take it out. If the bowl water is clear, pour 1/3 cup bleach into it, and let the plunger sit there for 10 minutes (assuming at this point you don't have all of your family members banging on the bathroom door like the zombies in Dawn of the Dead). At that point, it may still look gross, but most of the worst germs will be dead. Swirl the plunger around to get as much stuff off it as possible - lots of times it will look clean. Flush the stuff. From there you're good to clean it the way you would clean any other plunger.

Surprisingly effective
We have three people, one bathroom, and hundred year old plumbing and sometimes this puts us in a gross spot. This thing is more effective than a plunger. I'm very glad we got it.

Best plunger ever!
This thing really works. I bought my first a year ago and it did develop a split near the handle. Just received my new one and we are back in business!

It doesn't work on two Toto toilets I own.
I have a recent vintage Toto 1.2 gallons per flush toilet that stopped flushing reliably - it works OK 10% to 90% of the time. I replaced the inlet and flush valves and saw no improvement. I plunged the toilet with an older plunger and saw no improvement. I tried to use a snake, but the design of the Toto made that difficult. The ToiletShroom is foiled by the Toto design. It appears that output channel does not rise from the bowl outlet at a gentle angle, as shown in the drawings in the ToiletShroom listing and promotional materials. Instead, the output channel exits the bowl and then heads vertically for some distance. The 90-degree turn thwarts the shroom on both of my Toto toilets - it doesn't appear physically possible to get the thing to turn the corner. BTW, It is also difficult to get an auger to turn the same corner. That appears to be true for both a 1.2 gpf and an older 1.6gpf Toto. The company would do potential customers (and Amazon) a big favor by listing toilets that won't work with their product. I am returning it. That is why I am giving it 3 stars.

it works!
This one works great! We had issues for slow-running water in one of the bathroom. The normal plunger didn't work (probably because the rubber head was not soft anyone). But this one works perfectly! I recommend everyone keep one at home just in case.

Soft to not damage the finish and efficient to clean the trap
I did not have a chance to try to unclog my toilet as I have a Toto Aimes toilet which has never clogged since installation 2.5 years ago... However, I needed something to clean the inside of the trap as I sometimes had black particles (looking like shred of black paper) coming back into the bowl after flushing... Not sure why as it happened since brand new. With this brush I was able to push it deep inside the trap and the rubber disks did a nice soft scraping of the walls of the trap. It did pull out a lot of black stuff. Since I did this a couple of weeks ago I had zero black particle coming back into the bowl so it did an excellent job at rubbing against the trap wall and cleaning it without any chemical or damage. I have no idea if it would work well for its intended use of unclogging a toilet, but for cleaning the trap it works extremely well!

This thing saved me
I had a horrible toilet clog that I worked on for a few days, I tried everything: a normal plunger, baking soda and vinegar, hot water, dish soap and even coke. Nothing worked so I ordered this toiletshroom and I stuck in it twice and boom problem solved. I definitely recommend it.
